Cortez Yacht Charters is one of the oldest and most
reputable independent sportfishing companies offering Cabo San
Lucas sportfishing charters. The owner, Larry Edwards, has over
40 years sportfishing experience, 26 years of Cabo San Lucas experience
and 13 years as a Cabo fishing skipper. Our company provides a
myriad of charter sportfishing opportunities, including single-day,
multi-day live-aboards and long-range adventures and offers a
wide selection of sportfishers.
About Our Charter Boats
Boats ranging from 26' to 65' are inclusive of boat, crew, fuel,
all fishing tackle, dispatch fees, ice and 10% taxes. Yachts 42'
and larger offer an 8 hour day and 10 hour day, with inclusions
and daily charter rates reflected below. They can also accommodate
more than 6 passengers at an additional charge of $50.00 per person,
per day.
Daily charter rates vary from $295-$2,675 (see below).
There are no hidden charges.
Cortez Yacht Charters has provided three 1st place
winners for the Bisbee Black & Blue Marlin Tournament, along with
2nd and 3rd places, with cash winnings in excess of $500,000.
Our 1997 charter client, fishing aboard "Gaviota", captured 1st
place in the Bisbee Tournament, taking some $324,000. Our sportfishers
with the Gaviota Fleet were the first west coast fleet to release
25+ billfish per boat, in 1997.
We are corporate sponsors of The Billfish Foundation
and members of IGFA & United Anglers. Ask about our extended
fishing day, the longest fishing day in Cabo. Color brochures,

Also included for each charter master is a free 1 year membership
in The Billfish Foundation.

Sportfishers & Pangas Fishing
Charters
All sportfishers & pangas are inclusive of boat,
crew, fuel, all fishing tackle, dispatch fees. ice and 10% taxes.
Crew gratuities are not included. Mexican fishing licenses are
issued at boarding time at prevailing rates. Live bait is $2.00
per bait, when available and paid directly to the bait vendor.
Cruisers fish 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Pangas fish 6:30a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Yacht Fishing Charters
We also offer live aboard charters for groups
up to 6, for a minimum of 4 days on selected yacht sportfishers.
The below charters include crew, fuel, all fishing tackle, 10
pieces of live bait per day, when available, fish filleting, lunches,
beer, soft drinks, dispatch fees and 10% taxes. Crew gratuities
are NOT included. All yachts fish from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. except
the Libre that fishes until 4 p.m.
